Welcome to Balance Find Yours personal training!
My mission here is simple... to help individuals find their OWN balance to become the healthiest version of themselves. I'm not here to offer quick fixes... I'm here to help you create healthy & sustainable habits so you can achieve your goals- both now and in the future. I have a holistic approach; focusing and supporting you in all aspects of your health. I specialise in weight training and offer a range of services including face to face personal training, online coaching, nutrition support and I will soon be introducing small group training and releasing some strength training guides!
Meet Your Trainer
Hey I'm Jess and I'm a level 3 personal trainer. I'm also a qualified doctor working part time in the NHS. I've always had a love for sport and moving my body and developed an interest in strength training when was about 18 years old. I mostly did classes and repeated the same workout I was shown during my gym induction over and over as I wasn't sure what else to do. Whilst at university, I couldn't afford a personal trainer hence over time I started to build up my knowledge base around weight lifting and it soon became my main hobby! I love challenging myself in the gym and how strong it makes me feel- not just in the gym but outside the gym too. I've been weight training for 5 years now and have never looked back!
In my role as a doctor, you're constantly reminded just how important and valuable your health is... and often, we don't realise this until our health has already started to suffer. And of course, there are aspects of our health that we can't control but there are also so many aspects that we can control... I've always felt passionate about preventative medicine and empowering individuals to take ownership of their own health. I soon realised I couldn't make the impact I wanted to solely working as a doctor hence I became a personal trainer.
My vision is for Balance Find Yours for it to become an educative, supportive community which empowers individuals to become the healthiest versions of themselves. I am keen to break down common barriers people face as everyone should have the opportunity to work on become the healthiest version of themselves.
